June Green Commute Challenge Stats:

- 98.34 lbs. of carbon prevented from entering the atmosphere
o According to the EPA, an average vehicle gets 21.4 miles per gallon. Using that average, our green commuters saved 5.02 gallons of gasoline from being used. The EPA calculates 19.59 lbs. of Carbon is released into the atmosphere for every gallon of gasoline. That means our Green Commute participates prevented 98.34 lbs. of carbon from entering the atmosphere! Below is a reminder of what the Green Commute Challenge is and how to log your commutes.
Green commuting can be taking the bus, carpooling, walking to the gondola, biking or really anything which helps us reduce our emissions on the way to work.
You are now able log green commutes on the EpicEmployee App! Go to My Location à My Commute à Green Commute on the EpicEmployee App to log your commute and be in the raffle for a chance to win monthly prizes including Hydroflasks, Helly Hansen apparel, Big Truck Hats and more. We encourage any employee who can to attempt to make their commute to the mountain green at least 10 times a month. At the end of each month a winner will be drawn, the more times you green commute the better chances you have.
Participants who log 25 green commutes will be entered to win a grand prize at the end of the season.
