I am excited to announce the promotion of Hayley Krause to the position of Area Manager for Breckenridge. I am thrilled to have Hayley in this new role and look forward to the leadership and additional support she will provide to our Breckenridge locations. In her new role Hayley will oversee the retail operations in the Breckenridge market reporting to me.
Hayley began her retail career as an intern at Nordstrom in Chicago. Over the next seven years, she worked her way up through several positions and store locations including Department Manager, Interim Store Manager and Regional Division Retail Merchandiser from Chicago, Colorado, to the Washington, DC area. Hayley then decided to move back to Colorado and joined Saks OFF Fifth as a Store Director. The ski industry had always been a career goal and life passion for her so when she saw a posting for the Store Manager position at Epic Mountain Gear, a store she had always admired when skiing in Summit, she applied and accepted the position.
Hayley grew up in the northern Chicago suburbs and spent her childhood skiing since the age of three. Her family vacationed every year in mountain resorts; and when it came time to attend college, the primary deciding factor was proximity to skiing, therefore attended and graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder. In her spare time, you will find her skiing, mountain or road biking, practicing yoga, or taking her dog for a run. She enjoys cuddling with her dog, Cora, as well as going to breweries and wineries. Currently, she is in the process of buying a home and planning her wedding with fiancé Travis.
