Here’s a bit more about Zak:
Trained as a journalist, he spent the last few years reporting on-air in New York and Colorado Springs and behind the scenes at CNN. He's covered everything from devastating wildfires and flooding, to politics and crime, but his true passion has always been feature stories, and he’s excited to be here to help tell our Breck story to a global audience.
Zak is a city kid, born and raised in the Big Apple; an often frustrated fan of the New York Mets and the Iona Gaels Basketball Team (major points if you've heard of them). But make no mistake about, it he's a traveler and true lover of the outdoors too. He spent a winter living at our newest resort, Stowe, teaching breakfast goers about the famed "Dutch Pancake" before hitting the slopes and a summer at the nearby Ascutney Mountain Resort leading a tennis camp.
Zak's been fortunate enough to have skied a number of our mountains including Vail, Park City, Heavenly, and Kirkwood, and is looking forward to his first season at Breck.
